FOR STUDENT RENTING LOOM, THIS IS A TWO PART CLASS:
Class Description: Plan your scarf length & color design with planning sheet. Learn how to warp your loom with two color, weaving a tabby (plain weave) scarf. Student will use the Schadt Cricket 10" loom. Instructor will also speak about what you want in a loom, fiber types and quality. 
Class Fee $30 
Loom Rental $10 two day class
Student’s Loom one day class, if desired
Material Fee – 3” x 72” scarf $ 12 
Materials Fee  3” x 96” scarf $24
Yarn Choices:  Two Solid Color Skeins or Variegated Yarn
​Material fees and loom rental will be paid to the instructor the day of class.

Instructor Biography
Anne Bird

Anne Bird’s love is fiber arts. As a child her Grandmother introduced her to her passion of yarns and fabrics and her Mother encouraged her to create her own designs. Anne earned a Master in the Art of Teaching in Creative Arts from the University of Louisville, having been teaching all ages from kindergarten thru high school, plus on the college level since 1975. She is a retired teacher from Clarksville Community School Corporation teaching all areas of high school art.

Anne is an exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guide of Artists and Craftsman [past president], a member of Handweavers Guild of America, LAFTA, and TNNA, and can be found the first weekend of October exhibiting at St.James Court Art Show. In 1982, Anne opened Designs in Textiles teaching textile classes, carrying supplies and equipment.
