Wool Applique

10 am - 12 noon

Project:  Table Mat or Wall Hanging 
In this class, you will learn the basic techniques used in wool applique.  Layout of the design, joining layers with Blanket stitch, and enhance each of the pumpkins with simple embroidery stitches. All pieces are layered on a  background of black wool fabric.

In this class, you will learn the basic techniques used in wool applique.  Several stiches will be covered in this class, blanket, running, satin. 
Materials includes all wool and threads needed for project.‚Äč
NOTE:  All students must bring:
Small sharp scissors
Embroidery needles


Instructor Biography
Pauline Bramer

Pauline Bramer, owner and operator of Otter Creek Retreat loves Fiber Art.  As the owner and operator of Otter Creek Retreat, she loves to host Fiber Ar Events.  She has been crocheting and cross stitching for many years.  She loves being an art student and exploring new arts and techniques.  Her passion is wool applique and has published several of her own designs. She always has a current project in the works in weaving, traditional rug hooking, and quilting.  She loves hosting events for others to enjoy their love of their art and meeting new people.
Pauline is from Louisville, Kentucky and relocated to Brandenburg in 2007 with her husband. 
She is a member of ATHA, Buffalo Trace Rug Hookers, and serves on the Meade County Chamber of Commerce Board, Meade County Tourism Committee.
